Next Steps

Next Steps helps you discover who we are as a church and your greater purpose within the church, your community and the world. In these classes you will be encouraged to 1) Connect with the church, 2) discover the strengths of your purposeful design, 3) develop your personal leadership and 4) use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.   We believe you will enjoy this step-by-step process of growth and introduction to our church and its mission.

STARTING POINT (Next Steps Kids)

Register for the Starting Point Class

This is a class kids attend with their parents to learn what it means to follow Jesus.
We will serve a light lunch before getting started.

  • Step one: Explore membership

    This class provides basic instruction about our church family.  Since we have many members from many different church backgrounds (and none at all), Step One is designed to clearly explain who we are, what we believe and what we hope to do.  

  • Step two: Discover your design

    This is a fun class!  We will dig into the details of your personality, discover your gifts, and help you discover how to discover your best fit for ministry in and outside of our walls.    

  • Step three: Develop your leadership

    Discover what it means to be a leader at First Church and how to strengthen your character and influence others in a Christlike way.  

  • Step Four: Join the team

    This is our final step of getting you connected. Connect with a Serve Team leader and live out your purpose!
